Senior Java Developer Client: Major Bank Role: Senior Java Developer Duration: 6 Months + likely extension Rate: Open *depending on experience Location: Toronto, ON Multiple Roles Available Our client, a globally recognized bank is looking to hire multiple Senior Java Developers for a minimum 6 months based in Toronto, to work on a major Investment Banking CRM System development program. Your New Company A leading bank, with multiple offices across Canada and throughout the world are looking to onboard a team of Senior Java Developers. This is for a minimum 6 month contract in their Toronto offices. They have an excellent reputation within their sector and are known as a market leader. Your New Role As the Senior Developer you will work with a team of developers designing, developing, and testing solutions predominantly in Java, while working in an Agile requirements-driven environment. You will be working with a team responsible for designing and developing a single place for CRM, pre-trade, execution, post-trade & Sales MI activities, which will hugely enhance the ease and speed of searching for clients, retrieving client information, clearer views on risk and regulations by integrating a huge number of disparate systems into one place. What You’ll Need to Succeed: · Demonstrable experience of Continuous Delivery software development methods, including TDD and automated testing (including non-functional testing). · Java server side development (Java 8) experience is essential. · Experience working with Javascript and related frameworks and libraries (Angular and Require in particular) · HTML, Javascript, CSS knowledge is essential for this role · Experience working with Maven, Grunt, Gulp, LESS & REST · Experience of working in Unix environments is essential. · Experience of SQL and relational databases is essential.
