Mechanical Design Engineer Main Responsibilities: • Design electrical control panels and equipment from concept to completion (Power, Protection & Control Equipment) • Analysis/Calculation of mechanical systems and structures • Provide technical support to internal team • Develop cost estimates • Develop overall concepts for a new product • Interface between Engineering and Production personnel • With experience, will supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electrical systems and equipment Requirements: Must have: • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant working experience • Detailed mechanical drafting experience • Be proficient in Solid Works and AutoCAD or 3D modelling software eg. Pro Engineer • Experience in mechanical design related to electrical systems and equipment An Asset: • Experience in design of high power AC & DC systems • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code & National Electrical Code • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle • Ability to travel in Canada and the U.S. • Excellent communication skills • Independent, motivated self-starter, able to multi-task and manage tight deadlines • Team player Qualified applicants are asked to send their resume to: hrjobs.tor@mersen.com -michaelday(豆豆虫儿飞) 2018-8-16
