我们从 A 州搬到 B 州,一直租房住。娃从小学到中学,搬了一次。现在的中学娃喜欢,划片的高中娃也喜欢,所以就有了买房的意图。娃爸在 A 州盖房,貌似娃也不感冒回 A 州。B 州的环境太闹腾,也不是我久留之地,准备娃高中上大学之后,我就撤出 B 州。娃说喜欢 B 州的环境说有点闹腾好,我说我喜欢幽静的地方。
然。但是卖家完全可以 sue for breach of contract 。我也完全可以 sue my broker for negligence 。

I didn’t know still don’t know if seller threatened to sue but at least had broker to threaten to take earnest money. I do not know why seller backed out eventually. It is history now.

Title company can easily render the earnest money to court registry. The case can easily go on for 2 years.
