Our office at 8485 Montrose Road in Niagara Falls, Ontario is looking to hire a bright, ambitious and experienced CA/CPA to fulfill a full-time financial auditor position. The position would require the qualifications and experiences in accounting, auditing, and more.
Position:
• Financial Auditor
Job Type:
• Full-time and Permanent
• 40 hours per week
Salary:
• $40 per hour
Job Descriptions:
• Plan and perform audit tasks and make changes as required
• Examine and analyze accounting and financial records and documents to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with company’s accounting standards and procedures
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations and reporting to managememt team
• Plan and develop risk-based audit plans
• Write and present constructive audit findings based on facts, severity and risks
• Supervise other accounting staff such as bookkeepers, accounting clerks, etc.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in accounting or auditing
• Recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA) is mandatory
• 3+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience is required
• Experience in the completion of audits, reviews and notice to readers is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of various Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and more)
• English is a must
Other Requirements:
• Working knowledge of auditing techniques with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills
• Strong communication skills, organizing skills, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of other languages is an asset
