Reports to:Manager, Technical Services, North America

To provide technical support to Sales and Marketing by providing product information and
Application Engineering assistance to customer and Field Sales offices.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
To receive, analyze and respond to application requests directly with customers and sales offices To provide technical information regarding products and standards to customers and Mersen personnel
Co-ordinate customer leads or technical issues follow up with sales force
Prepare and administer cross reference data base
Assists the sales force at specifier and end user calls
Initiate and complete testing programs on products
Prepare and evaluate product incident reports and assist with investigations
Maintain central filling system for all product data, competitive information etc.
Expand and improve product Application information for use internally and externally
Prepare and deliver technical seminars and product presentations
Attend and represent Mersen at trade shows
Assist the team in project related work as required and outlined by the Manager.
Position Requirements
Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma
3-5 years technical knowledge and experience in electric power or control systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent technical selling skills and experience
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
Ability to travel as needed
