NEW - The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will not enforce 29 CFR 1904's recording requirements to require employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination.

They do not wish to "discourage workers from receiving a vaccination or disincentivize employers' vaccination efforts."

It's unclear if the recording requirements are subject to change once OSHA will implement the emergency regulation on #COVID19 vaccines as proposed by the Biden administration.

    • You are lazy and I would put it into hyperlink
      • Thanks. That means the side effects of vaccines are underreported, purposefully.
        • I think OSHA just follows Biden government’s order to do this shit.
It is similar as what CDD and FDA have done. Have you heard that the Justice department would send a letter to the Supreme Court to stop Taxes vaccine mandatory ban? They are the same thing!

Note on recording adverse reactions to vaccines: OSHA, like many other federal agencies, is working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not want to give any suggestion of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination or to disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR part 1904’s recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022.

    • Thanks for sharing. Truly unthinkable. What are they trying to hide?

Are adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine recordable on the OSHA recordkeeping log?

DOL and OSHA, as well as other federal agencies, are working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers' vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904's recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022. We will reevaluate the agency’s position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward.
