    本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Hi, all netguys,

I have met an emergent problem about RRP. My story is following.

I landed at Toronto in Dec. of 2000, ten days late, I went back to China and then to Singapore to continue my master program in University of Singapore(NUS). I am a regestered full-time master student in NUS and I will graduate in the end of this year. So I was solidly confident to be issued a RRP.

But it is not true. I submitted my application kits with fee ($75) to Canadian Embassy to Singapore in Janurary. After four times personal enquirement at their office for my case processing, I finally received a letter that said I was not qualified to be issued RRP. It means My application was refused! The letter was written by a third seceretary in Visa Section after a review of a senior visa officer. I was strongly shocked and the outcome is totally beyond my image. The deadline of 183-day is in the mid of this June. We have left one month to book tickets, shopping, packaging and so on. do not mention my master project which will take me several month to write uot thises and data processing.

This morning I went to the Embassy for meeting a visa officer and give further explanation. But you know that it is no way to meet a visa officer without an oppoitment several weeks before. So I have to leave a letter and more detail supporting documents to a lower officer to pass to the visa officer for re-review of my case. But it sounds impossible to let he/she change mind.

Please give me your advices and suggestions about my case.
    What can I do afterthen?
Do I have to give up my halfway study and re-enter Canada to keep my PR status?
Can I re-enter Canada after 183-day absence from Canada without RRP?

Thanks for your patience and tips.
