CTV media is at it AGAIN failing to do proper journalism by failing to contact the organizer before making a press release.

What shocked me is that a CBC Ottawa reporter just contacted me asking to do a Zoom interview with me so that viewers get all the facts right from the source. I thanked him and advised were still in pre-planning and that when we go Live on our website that would be a good time to do a zoom as we will have sorted out all the details and will have a solid planned event to discuss.

First - We are still in pre-planning folks So PLEASE note, nothing is written in stone. This means we need a few weeks to sort out all the details. The dates are fixed so folks can pre-book. However, other details are being discussed and worked on based on everyone's feedback.

Second, the dates the CTV media posted are wrong. We are not in Ottawa for two full weeks.

We start the Convoy on the 11th in BC then we convoy all across Canada up to the 16th where all convoy routes will meet someplace outside Ottawa on Thur Feb 16th.

Then just outside of Ottawa, we will host our 4-day Event (location still being worked on) starting Friday, Feb 17th with the last day being Family Day Mon Feb 20th.

Then Tuesday AM Feb 21 we light up the Freedom Highway once again and get everyone another chance to come out to the overpasses with flags as we Convoy together back to our respective communities which we sadly missed from the last one.

The goal is for all Semis, Campers, Motorhomes, a UNITY Stage, Food, Bouncy Castles, and a Freedom Market open for all groups on one property so we all can be together in UNITY from Feb 17th to Feb 20th.

Naturally, we will Invite Ottawa residents to our Event.

Speaking of the UNITY STAGE

Speeches will be live-streamed so that folks who can not make it can watch at home.

ThebPolice - OPS, and OPP.

Ontario Police - OPP: Wants us to add an OPS NOTICE TO PARTICIPANTS "NTP" to be included with our registration besides our Code of Conduct, which I have no issues with as the OPS NTP covers all the laws for hosting an event of this nature.

Also, OPP let me know I need to work with municipal and county bylaws for hosting an event outside Ottawa which we will do.

Ottawa Police - OPS: No convoy into the downtown core of Ottawa is permitted and we will respect that. No, we can not park in front of Parliament. Why? OPS told me, they did their city police parade and they could not even run a convoy of police cars downtown and that's our police... So we will respect this and work with whatever Ottawa Police and Bylaws advise us to do or not to do.

I have told the police - If the mandates do come back - I am not responsible if folks refuse to follow them as a mandate is not Law, and I will always support Canadians' Lawful Freedom of Choice as protected under the Bill of Rights and Charter of Rights.

What OPS did say is that Parliament Hill for speeches (as per permit approval from PPS is not off the table) and a side note, OPS liked our Candlelight Vigil March which I believe we will do again.

Note: We will be making applications for permits in the next few weeks. Until we have approvals in place - Nothing is Final.

Also: I have not officially Branded this as Freedom Convoy 2.0, so again CTV Media has got this wrong.

There is a Marketing Team working on Official Branding...till then folks can call it whatever they wish.

I think people have mixed reasons in their minds and hearts as to why the Convoy for Freedom 2023 Reunion, should or should not take place. I will always say this event is for UNITY FIRST. This convoy of BearHuggers filled with Love in their hearts allows Canada to focus on Putting Unity into Our CommUnities for two weeks.

I have openly said we can not have Unity without reconciliation and for this reason, this year's 2nd Annual BearHug Canada theme is named "The Olive Branch Edition". I believe we need closure from what happened in Ottawa and to set the records straight through our actions of the past and the present which were always and will always remain Peaceful and Lawful.

In closing, If anyone sees the media making false claims or creating crap like this article - please let me know. I have a massive list of slander, defamation, and character assassination against me and as soon as the EA final hearing report is made public, I plan on launching a wave of lawsuits against anyone who makes the list.
