    现在的中国，假货泛滥。
    学生申请学校都要假成绩单。
    有一名中国青年，GRE 2200多分。
    在WATERLOO读了一年之后，
    被勒令退学，并且被告知今后不能再进入CANADA。
    就是因为他的本科成绩有两门不符。
    所以，如果有人考虑不周，
    使用了XXX，
    要考虑退路了。

    Are you from waterloo?
    I know this guy, he graduated from a famous university of china.
    Now he should be in the states.
    All guys here from that university want to go to the states.

    怎么查出来的,都读了一年了.
    不能来Canada了?学校没这个权力吧.

    象美帝国主义这样的东西，看样子真是藏污纳垢啊。听说李宏志就
    被美国当宝贝似的贡起来了。

    所以象我这样的不愿意同流合污的，真的很向往社会主义加拿大啊:-)

    Both graduate school and all my bosses received
    letters to confirm my academic record and referrence
    letters!

    Faint, US univ.s seldom check this, and some one
    told me that a cooker even got full aid from Drexel U!

    you after one year's stay. What actually happened?

    It is a good lesson to all future applicants if we can get it clear.

    Agree. I'm trying to make things clear, then everybody would be able to know

    something about protecting this kind of issues, of coure in case he/she still

    wants to take the smae risk.

    I just got to know that the same things used to happen in UBC too.

    There were two Chinese students both of whom applied UBC with modified
    transcripts and both were offered admission. One finally cancelled
    application
    because he/she(? don't know) applied immigration at the same time. BUT, when

    he/she attended interview in HK, he/she was asked if he/she had applied UBC
    --- the UBC
    sent letter to his/her former university for verifying the documents even
    after his/her
    cancellation, and when got to know his/her cheating UBC noticed Immigration
    office about
    it. Of course, his/her application for immigrate was rejected finally due to
    this point. Hence,
    UBC verifed another one's transcriptes then, and when got the same response
    UBC expeled
    him/her right away after his/her few monthes studying there.

    So............. it's really hard to make decision. If you still want to go on
    taking the risk, maybe the best way is to contact former school
    and see if there's any helpful thing can be done.

    A stupid question: how could you make a fake transcript?
    Don't you get all your transcripts stamped by the university?
    Or the university 'faked' for you and in a few months say
    "No, it is not from us.."? Is it possible?

            I even heard that many CS bachors who just graduated from university claimed that they had 5 years CS experience, and they found their jobs! Who can believe that a man with 5 years experience in CS will study for his bechalor degree?! One of my friend who had very good grade in university, and I think he is a good student , wrote every thing true about himself got very few response from the resume he had sent.

              Everybody has right to respect himself in some way, if you don't respect yourself or treasure your own credit, don't blame others.
              Why you have to rely on other people? Why you cannot success independently? Why you have so many excuses for being cheater? I have a friend who has been a programmer ever since 14 years old, but he still went to university to obtain his bachelor degree in CS. There could be hundreds of reasons for your friend, who looks good from your own eyes, not to get a job yet. I know YOU HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT WHAT'S RIGHT OR WRONG, BUT PLEASE, DON'T DESTROY REPUTATION OF CHINESE. What a shame.

            I just remembered once in BBS somebody, who was from no.1 university in China, complained that his female classmate didn't let him copy her homework. Of course he was blamed by his peers. Here comes another one.
