    Algonquin

    Algonquin

Jewellery mirror in Heaven fell down on the Earth,

broke into thousand verdant glittering pieces .

Moon in sky varies thousand reflections shining in all lakes,

while rows of  clouds are drifting in boundless space.

Wild trees grow lushly but narrow paths hide insides.

Canoes float in lakes as crystal water gently ripples.

Guests from all enjoy the clean water and blue mountains,

Under the pines, they entirely revel in so graceful views.

LOL.
        • yes~~~~

      Pog Lake

Small hills are so cute just as my pillow.

Crystal water is so pure it cleans my soul.

Thousands pines sway there in one style show.

Blue hills stand quietly in both sides row.

In sunset shining, blooming lotuses are quietly pure.

Moon hides away while bright stars still glow.

How long  have frogs been singing as rivers flow?

It gets into my dream whatever it's high or low.

    • very good. reminding me of my own old limericks打油诗。。。
      • Hi,just waiting for your limericks~~~~~
        • hehe, here you go:
          • Oh!find my workmate~~~~very good!
    • I always think writers and poets contribute far more to the human kind as a whole than what they take from. This is a group I admire most.
My only experience on poems, when I was still in junior high, was on free-style. At that time, it seemed everyone could write poems. I tried several of my own. I thought I wrote verses and broke them up by sentences and realigned them vertically. Of course, when I look back now, it was a joke. But I did learn something though - it takes a beautiful mind to write real poems. You need to see beyond life to appreciate beautiful things and see what other people fail to see.

Allow me keep your poems. Next time I visit Algonquin, I think I will take in the scenery through your eyes.
      • True. When something goes wrong in society, people are much more likely to believe what writers and poets say than what politicians say.
        • Same feeling!
      • Thanks for your appreciation!handshaking!
