services of a mainframe COBOL Developer with CICS and DB2 experience. The
successful candidate will be responsible
for the maintenance and enhancement of several mainframe applications.
The successful candidate will provide analysis, coding, testing and
documentation services.
KNOWLEDGE
thorough knowledge of the OS/390 environment is essential;
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
8-10 years experience in progressively responsible positions in IT;
5 years experience coding in COBOL and CICS;
familiarity with TSO, ISPF and proficiency in JCL;
application development lifecycle methodology;
preparing technical documentation;
analytical and technical skills;
experience working in a team environment;
written and verbal communication skills;
Basic security clearance.
The candidate should be available for immediate employment. The initial
contract will end on December 20, 2002 with the possibility of future
renewals.
