    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/SCOPE OF WORK:
    - Document technical standards and guidelines for implementing and
    maintaining network communications wiring closets and equipment.
    - Assist with the maintenance of a variety of multi-protocol, multi-platform
    network hardware and software components.

    SPECIAL SKILLS/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
    - Experience with developing technical standards and reports pertaining to
    the installation of electronic equipment.
    - Practical experience and working knowledge of analog and digital
    networking, telecommunications equipment, software and applications.
    - Knowledge of data routing and switching protocols and methods within local
    and wide area networks.
    - Knowledge of client/server and mainframe computing environments,
    procedures and methods.
    - Prior experience (minimum of 5 years) working in a continuous service
    production environment.
    - Knowledge and proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
    - Certification in network technologies (MCSE or CCNA/CCNP) would be an
    asset.
