I would like to share a thought if anyone feels like reading…
I feel that everyone here is pretty much on the same page but in case there is anyone wavering on what the fuck is happening here is some food for thought.

I work in the forestry sector for BC public service. The majority of my work I am alone with the trees, forests, orchards, nature, the outdoors….. I almost NEVER come into contact with the public or anyone other than the odd worker in my office.
As of the 22nd I will lose my job.

This mandate which dingle nut Wanamaker is forcing on me and many coworkers to get the jab is insane when we are so far removed from any risk. But the part that really struck me is the part of the policy in which even if you work remotely or from home, you are required to show proof of your double dose.
Now I’ve been awake for a very long time but this just hit me hard and I pray that people start looking at this as a power trip and tyranny.

I find it also very convenient that in our public service agreement effective from 2019 to March 2022 has an independent section regarding service member compliance with health and safety requirements. To quote “There shall be full compliance with all applicable statutes and regulations pertaining to the working environment.”
All this encompasses workplace diseases etc.
Just found it odd. And odd timing.

Like I said before, I don’t care if anyone reads this but I had to put it out there! It’s lonely sometimes being on the right side of history and I honestly can’t believe I’m losing my job so I feel very rambly.
