On Day 9 of the Emergencies Act hearings, evidence was presented to the commission showing that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet had a plan for the federal government to meet with protesters the same day that he invoked the extraordinary powers to quash the protests. 

On Day 10 of the Emergencies Act hearings, yet another senior police officer has testified that the Emergencies Act was not required to clear protesters from downtown Ottawa.

On Day 11 of the Emergencies Act hearings, disclosed text messages reveal that RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki considered calling in members of the military to wear RCMP uniforms and act as unarmed cops against Freedom Convoy protesters.

On Day 12 of the Emergencies Act hearings, former Ottawa Police Chief Peter Sloly said that “misinformation and disinformation” from mainstream media sources during the Freedom Convoy was “unrelenting” and seriously damaged the morale of Ottawa police officers.

On Day 13 of the Public Order Emergency Commission, text messages between Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s offices revealed a plan to “get in on the growing narrative” that the Freedom Convoy truckers were “extreme.”

On Day 14 of the Emergencies Act hearings, Freedom Convoy protesters were given a chance to tell their side of the events in Ottawa for the first time in the proceedings.

On Day 15 of the Emergencies Act hearings, more Freedom Convoy representatives took the stand including Convoy lawyer Keith Wilson, representative Tom Marazzo and live-streamer Patrick King.

On Day 16 of the Emergencies Act hearings, the main organizer of the Freedom Convoy  Tamara Lich took the stand for the first time since her bail hearing in late July.

On Day 17 of the Emergencies Act hearings, Tamara Lich concluded her testimony and former RCMP officer Daniel Bulford testified as a supporter of the Convoy.
