    NEW YORK, July 25 (dailywallstreet.com) - Analysts at RBC Capital Markets maintain their "sector perform" rating on EMC Corporation (ticker: EMC), while raising their estimates for the company. The target price has been raised from $15 to $17.

    In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company has posted its revenues and EPS marginally ahead of the consensus. EMC's performance recovered across most of its key products and regions, the analysts say. The company has raised its revenue and GAAP EPS guidance for FY07 from "at least" to "exceed" $12.7 billion and from "at least" to "exceed" $0.64, respectively. The EPS estimate for 2008 has been raised from $0.93 to $0.95.
