I placed an order @$3 today and went for meeting. When I came back 1 hr later I almost slapped myself since the price went down to 3.05 and went up to 3.9 when I checked it

If C would go bankruptcy, it would not go on next Monday. but starting from next week, short sell will be banned. The market might start a rally from here. So I think it's pretty safe to hold C in a short term. :-)

I have been doing DT since the market started to go down and never hold any stocks overnight. But I bought and hold some C yesterday. Hope my decision is right because I do not think C can go bankcrupt.

After the bankrupt of Lehman Bros, like FRE, FNM, Bear Sterns, AIG, and other big financial institutions, they are just "too big to let fail". And the gorvernment will rescue them. But, just look at their common stocks' prices, almost all wiped out.
