In other words, common shares would be diluted as a result. Also, with the default rates going up and consumer spending coming down, I expect AXP would continue its downward trend. Visa or mastercard would be a better player. I bought Visa one time at less than its IPO price but did not hold long enough. Still kick my butt for that. Short AXP and Discovery but long on Visa. IMHO. Happy investing !
