关于currency conversion问题, Questrade有明确说明, 用C$买US 股票客户自己要先convert 成US$, Questrade不负责自动conversion, 而是视为purchase on margin. 那些都是新用户, 不知道政策规定, 不能说Questrade在欺骗. -2yue(二月莺飞); 2008-12-24 {771} (#65449@43)
至于margin call, 是另外问题, 即使他们用US account margin, 但如果有足够C$在Cdn account的话, 是不会有margin call的. 他们收到margin call, 肯定是C$ 不足以cover US$ margin而导致. 这个我亲自经历过. 我US account爆仓了, 以为要收到margin call, 赶紧打电话问什么时候把钱转进才来得及, rep看后说我的帐户OK, 不会有margin call的, 因为我的C$ account有足够的钱, 只有C$, US$ combined balance不满足margin 要求才会收到margin call.

关于系统问题, 故障是有的, 但我从没有发现过那人所说的问题, 相反地, 我觉得Questrade这点非常好, 每个order, 不管是原单, 修改, 取消, 任何一个动作都有纪录, 并且都有发message确认. 至少我知道的CIBC Investor's Edge, TD Waterhouse是没有任何详细纪录的. 有次我要求TD把当天的交易记录发给我, TD居然说不允许把这些信息给客户, 要是有争议, 客户什么证据都没有, 肯定告不赢地.
