Air Transat has become the first airline to offer up some cheap flights from Toronto to Vancouver and Calgary for the 2023 summer season.
Nonstop flights from Toronto to Vancouver or Calgary are available for $258 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
Flights as far away as August 2023 are available. The availability for summer dates is wide open, including over long weekends.
Vice-versa flights (Vancouver or Calgary to Toronto) are available for a similar roundtrip price.
Air Canada and WestJet are currently priced at $700 CAD roundtrip. Flair has not yet loaded their fares for summer 2023.

How to find and book this deal
1. Try the following Google Flights search:

- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.
- Adjust the trip length at the bottom.
2. Go to Kayak or Skyscanner or FlightHub
- Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.
- NOTE: On Google Flights you will notice that you can only browse for dates up to July 10th, 2023. If you search for dates manually on Kayak or Skyscanner or FlightHub you can find cheap flights up to August 11th, 2023.

For those that are willing to gamble well before they get there, Flair Air is showing nonstop flights from Toronto to Las Vegas for $129 to $229 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The base fare without luggage (personal item only) is $129 CAD roundtrip.
The more realistic price is $229 roundtrip with a piece of carry-on luggage.
Flair is also showing flights to the following U.S. cities for the same price:
Phoenix-Mesa, Arizona (AZA)
Nasvhille, Tennessee (BNA)
Denver, Colorado (DEN)
Orlando-Sanford, Florida (SFB)
Booking with Flair comes with risk. They've been known to drop routes without warning. If a flight is cancelled or delayed they usually don't have an alternative way of getting you to your destination (many routes only have flights 2-3 times a week). This tends to become a larger risk during winter when weather can affect the operations of all airlines.

Air Transat has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Fort Lauderdale, Florida down to $242 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
You can find similarly priced flights from Toronto (YYZ) to Fort Lauderdale with Flair for $138 CAD roundtrip (after you factor in Flair's fees, the prices are about the same as Air Transat's).
Flair also has flights from Kitchener (YKF) to Fort Lauderdale for $98 CAD roundtrip (realistic price: ~$220 CAD roundtrip).
