  • 记得这句话是哪部小说里的吗?Gypsies makedifficult friends for ordinary people, and he was something of a gypsy.
    现在重读这本小说,和年轻时阅读的感觉完全不同,感觉越来越理解主人公了。
    记得这句话是哪部小说里的吗?Gypsies make
    • ○  Don't understand what "difficult friend" means.
      • ○  It is confusing when you just read this one sentence. I guess the word of “difficult” here is used for the verb of “make friends”. I don’t know much of English grammar, I just understand what the author is saying based on the whole story.
        • ○  So which fiction is that?
          • ○  I bet you, a lot of people, especially middle aged people, have read it before. " The Bridges of Madison County".
            • ○  Interestingly enough, I've been to Madison, Wisconsin, and have seen a few covered bridges there. But haven't read that book. :D
              • ○  The fiction was produced to a film in 1995. It was so popular in that year. You must be too young to watch it back then. :)
                • ○  I like what you said. :) I roughly had some ideas about what the fiction was about. Back to that time, it appeared so far away from my life.
