去年装了，7-stage under cabinet RO system (~300) + instant hot water system (feed from RO system, ~800)。一个龙头有冷热的饮用水。

so far so good...yes it is very very quiet when it regenerates... and super simple to install... took me <1hr,

and that included installing 3 valves to bypass it if required.... it already came with a bypass valve so if you don't need that extra level of protection, should take you <30min to install.
Both hot and cold of course otherwise when you shower, you do not get soft water. Ideally you would run a separate line to outside and all your toilets.
