I noticed in Switzerland the large dogs have to pay half-fare tickets on public transit while small dogs don't. Not all restaurants welcome pets as well.

Put this aside, wondering how people will react, if China and Canada follow Switzerland and start to require half fare from large dogs. Can't imagine, just can't .

Depends on politically correct or not. Switzerland is thinly populated and their public transit usually is far from crowded, yet they won' t give large dogs free ride, they just won't. Dog owners no plan to sue transit whatsoever.
