Never heard about Unionville Town Center. There is only one Markam Town Center, at Warden/7, not very close to Toogood Pond. I agree with you in general an old house is not very ideal for a first time house buyer because of the extra maintenance work,

but if you have kids and look for a top primary school anywhere in GTA, you don't really have that many choices to find a <10y house.
