It is fake rather than real...fake presentation/discussion to/with pretended audience.

Personally, I like real-world stuff, and learning by doing, in work or life.

So, a presentation that is required at work, a conference call that needs your deep involvement...or, join the condominium resident committee/board of directors, or find some voluntary activities that help build my communication skills.
