Didn't follow the news. However, Isn't it true that being good at maths is indeed a strength (of which I'm proud), while sweatshop is just a fact? Maybe I'm not sensitive.

      • Many black people feel that they are the victims of racism, and not happy about the White Oscar, somehow, the black host thinks that it’s ok to make a racist joke about Asian people, I think that’s what gets people angry.
        • IMHO, if a statement is stating facts, it should not be racist.
          • Whether or not you feel offended, it’s personal, you don’t have to,

the point is, you might be good at math, you might consider yourself a boring expressionless accountant like the way they staged those three poor kids, but that’s just how you portray yourself, that’s not the “facts”,  that’s stereotyping.

Have you actually watched the video though?  If not, you might want to give it a try, at least you would know for sure if you’re still so proud that you’re willing to send your children over on that stage…

            • OK, I went to watch the video clip.

Surprisingly, I feel that it's actually a compliment to Asians.

Needless to say, Most people in US are just NOT talented enough to work as accountants in PWC.  It's an honour to be hired by one of the big 4 accounting firms.

I've travelled to many countries.  The fact is, among the 200 countries in the world, most of them are not smart enough to make smartphones.

Being intellegent and being hard-working are not bad things at all, it's to the contrary.

Other people do have their rights to protest, to protest against whatever things.  But for me I don't feel anything offensive about this clip.
