Although I know some other cultures also celebrate the same new year, but why Trudeau didn't use "Chinese New Year"? Prime Minister Harper stated "Chinese New Year" in his 2015 greetings.

This is to celebrate the “lunar new year”, China is not the only country that does that, I think Trudeau was just trying to be more inclusive.
