Stayed in October, 2017.  The cost for 2 nights was NTD $2600 ( CAD $108; $54 per night). 

This homestay is located at the edge of the urban area.  It's quiet.  With the free bikes, still quite convenient to go to downtown commercial area for food.

When we arrived, the owner gave us a home-made map and spent time to introduce the area to us.  

There's a large public balcony on the second floor.  Guests can hand-wash clothes in a large sink, dry in a spinner, and air on the bars.  It's not fancy but very practical and convenient.

The room is cozy.  There's no chairs, and the mattress is placed right on the floor.  We sat on the floor.  It was clean.  A stuffy toy was on the bed.  Also some others were on a wall shelf.

Breakfasts were home-made.  Very tasty and healthy.

Guests can use bikes.  There is a very good bike trail at the edge of the town.  It goes to a nearby town.

It was raining heavily when we checked out.  The owner offered us a free car ride to the train station.  That helped a lot!
