      So how many hours per week do you need to take care of your vegetable garden? Or the garden is taken care by your other family members ? How many months each year that the veggies can not grow due to cold weather in your area (your island?)?

        the growing season is from April to September. It does take lots of time! Very often I worked at the plot for 4 hours or more. It doesn't rain during summer months, so I have to water it every day. But overall it's still very rewarding. Think about this, no need to buy veggies for 4 months!
