  • My mini farm in July

Cilantro.  When it's hot, they bolt quickly.

    Kale.  Survived from aphid attacks.

Goji leaves: healthy and tasty, my favourite!

Never know whether they are kale or broccoli!

    Blue pole beans.

    Scarlet runner beans

    Purple peacock beans.

    • Does your goji tree produce fruit? +1
      • I have two types of goji plants, for fruit and for leaf.
The first type was grown from dried goji berries that I bought from grocery store. This is the 4th year. Last year there were lots of flowers, but I got almost no ripe fruit! When the green fruits were about to ripen, they became black and dried instead of becoming red. It must be a disease. Hope it won't happen again this year.

The leafy plants were from grocery too... I bought a bunch, ate the leaves, and inserted the bold stems to the soil. They grew pretty well!
        • So they're completely two different species of goji trees, right? Do they look like very differently, e.g., their color and shape?
          • They are two varieties of goji. The leaves taste the same. But the fruit one has smaller and slimmer leaves, the leaf one has large, tender and fat leaves. :) I'm pretty sure the leaf one can fruit too, I just didn't give it a chance. :D
