It's my favorite too! Where did you buy it? The Costco in Victoria once sold dried white mulberries. But it's no longer available, and I've never seen black ones.

  • I love fresh mulberries but I have missed them for many many years. Recently I am happy to get some dried black mulberries. +1

Even though the dried ones is not comparable with the fresh ones in term of their taste, but I have enjoyed to eat them. I found that steaming or boiling them for a few minutes after washing them, can improve their taste. Black mulberries provide many healthy benefits. A small reminder: do your best to avoid the dark juice touches your white or light color dresses. 🌞😁

      • The black mulberries are not often sold in stores.
I wish I can still get some of them for you. So this evening I drove to the small store where I found them last time. But I arrived there late (7:15pm) and the store was closed (at 7:00pm) today. I will check the store again for you recently.
      • I got it unexpectedly from a small Chinese store where they sell health products and dry foods.
On that day I was not confident to buy multiple packages since it was my first time to see dried mulberries and there's no Best Before Date or Batch Number on the package.
      • But after I opened the package and tried them at home, I think it's good to buy it. Tonight I also checked isle by isle at the nearest T&T and another local Chinese Supermarkets, and asked their employees. But these supermarkets do not have mulberries.
    • You can easily find fresh white mulberries when they are in season, in GTA. Also, mulberries are different from black berries. Here are black berries, and you can grow yourself. +1
      • If you visit Victoria in late August, you'll be able to pick blackberries. They are everywhere in the wild!
        • How did you find about going back to Victoria after oversea flights? My husband was suggesting retiring in Victoria, but I cannot stand travelling for another segment after landing in YYC/YYZ.
          • You may either fly or take the ferry. To me it's not often, so still feel okay. Victoria is good if you don't need Chinese services.
