Impression of Tel Aviv: Electric scooters

You probably will notice it immediately after you arrive at the urban area of Tel Aviv.  There are many electric scooters.  Tel Avivians ride it like Canadians ride bicycles, but they can go really fast!

This young lady is crossing the street on the bike lane.

 

This guy is scooting on the car lane.  He actually goes as fast as a car there!

 

How much is an electric scooter?  The local money is Shekel.  1000 Shekels is around 400 CAD.

 

 

Like shared bikes, there are also a few companies doing shared e-scooter services.

      Have you seen any safety issues and traffic issues there caused by these running e-scooters on both roads and sidewalks during rush hours?
