The International Press calls him “A Russian Paganini”.  “A violinist of the highest caliber, whose musical sensitivity matches his immaculate technique,” raved the Seattle Times.  To the late, legendary Yehudi Menuhin, Vadim Repin was “simply the best and most perfect violinist”.

Pianist Svetlana Smolina, hailed as “an outstanding Russian pianist with a luxuriant tone,” joins him in Toronto in works by Bartok, Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky.

          Only do it after the conductor turn back facing the audience. :)
