      • Damn, I should have ordered these for my Lunar New Year’s Eve dinner :). BTW, Kung Hei Fat Choi!

      • Hey, stop posting this delish 'pie in the sky', it's unfair. :)
        • You said you would order a takeout? :)
          • You should really think about opening a cook house, so I can actually send in my order. :)
            • Sounds like a good idea... :)
    • Sailor the great cook, 4th and the last. +1

    • Soup of salmon and watermelon rind +1

      • Watermelon rinds, sounds like it's perfect timing for the hot summer season. :) +1
        • That's right. Also it's a good way to live environmentally. You may be surprised that how much rind a melon has! +1
          • Sure, glad to find a good way to make full use of this often-wasted food.
    • Pink salmon, pan fried. +1

      • Seriously, recipe please. :)
        • I feel honoured. :) +1

Add some oil to pan, medium heat, place fish fillet in the pot, skin side down.  sprinkle some salt.

After 5 minutes, added ginger and walnuts.  Turn the fish.  Continue for another 3 minutes.

Ornaments are cherry tomatoes and mint leaves.

That's it.  It's really easy to do.

          • Thanks a lot, sounds very encouraging: gourmet recipe made easy... +1

Mint leaves, do you use them to get rid of fishy flavor or they serve solely as ornaments? Anyway, I’m pretty sure it would be nice to pair this yummy dish with white wine…smiley

            • Mint is always a good thing for seafood and meat, but for this dish it's basically for decoration purpose. +1

Wine should be good, but I'm too young for alcohol... :p

              • Thanks, the dish does look nice with mint green...
      • Great.... +1
    • Wow.It looks good! +1
    • I have to go see doctor for my jaw. LOL +1
      • LOL. You do need your jaw to enjoy good food. :)
    • Today's luxury dinner +1

Stirfry of onion and lettuce with pine nuts; Stirfry of carrot and chicken; Porridge of chick peas, lentils, brown rice and goji berries.

      • This reminds me that eating healthy doesn't have to be boring. However, in this busy world, it could be a luxury to find time to treat yourself with a "luxury dinner".
        • Yes. Also having the mood to take photos is luxury too. I cook nice food everyday, but don't always have the mood to take photo. :p
          • I can relate to that, sometimes it goes round in circle, you need to be in good mood to cook nice foods, and good foods boost your mood…
