Personally I don't like the idea of sharing cruise room. Very awkward.

Cruise trip shall be a relaxing one, can't imagine staying in a room with other people.
Just my two cents.
it's not sharing the room, we just need a single person to book a room together, but then we don't need to live in that room. The cruise ship line only give discount to double space, a single space is about the same price as double space...
