Started the hike early in the morning, when the sun just rised up.
Grand Pass is our destination, but what I pointed to is not the side we were about to start. It would be the side that we would came back from.
When we were high on the ridge, there were no tree. But there were lower in the valley.
When you see clouds in the sky, probably they are from here!

After checking those Juan de Fuca pics, I thought I had an answer until I see these. Now I’m hesitant, the good thing is that I don’t have to make a decision in this case, I guess I will check them out, both.
