I guess he still has two options:1. Given his experience and salary history, he can target some management positions in accouting (such as accounting manager). I know many companies will pay $75K or more for a qualifies manager.

I agree that somethimes over-qualified experience could be a trouble for mid-career people.

How can that happen ? Coz , if one guy ,once , was overqualified , it's not his fault , right ? It is his/her former boss who overqualified him/her . He shouldn't take the panety .
