A tidbit of formal English
If we carefull read some business letters, we may see the following sentence structures
1) Please be advised that we will be close on Sundays
2) Please be reminded that the Core Java book you checked out has been overdue.
3) Please be noted that .....
All these things sound cold.

I was puzzled when I first saw “ Please be informed that ….” in our office. Sounds like double negative.
