There are so many good ag stocks out there. Why did you buy these kinds of stocks? It just owns a bunch of chinese companies. Just see those POT, MOS, MON, AGU, CF, and so on. Anyone of them is just shooting up.

thanks for bringing it to my attention.I have a potash list but I am surprised it's not in my watch list.
If you do have strong belief in this stock maybe you can add the position after it comes back to 7.00 level. TA side, very ugly, it has a very good chance to break 6.6 in short term and might reach 5.6. anyway, as a trader, i will won't touch it here. let's see...

Thanks for posting this. I guess the stock got caught by short sellers. Now the company looked nervous and wanted to deter the shorting selling by giving this unusual conference call. Anyway, let's listen to it to get some clues.....

Short sellers' party was over tonight! Conference call was very positive. CEO gave many details to support a bull case for MGO. I expect to see the stock rally 7%-8% tomorrow.I wasn't satisfied with the translator, who translated the words but not the confidence and optimism projected by the CEO. So I discounted my expectation by 2%. I hope I was wrong...

It will. Be patient with this one, and you'll make money. This is a stock that you want to hold for the next 2 years if you think China will continue to boom.

migoa is consumer of potash, not producer.

Thanks, I thought MGO is also a producer.

I said that in the sense that, like peterg pointed out, potash is an input of MGO products. High potash cost would squeeze its profit margin. But I didn't mean that MGO would necessarily trade in the opposite direction with POT, MOS,etc. We will see MGO price go up until the market brings its valuation in line with its peers. This is why we saw MGO rally 24% last week no matter what. After this, we may see MGO become somewhat correlated to POT, because overall they all belong to agriculture sector. But also keep in mind the impact on MGO margin of potash price when you try to figure out where MGO is going to move.

you are right. Migao also has its plants constructed in China to produce potash. but its main business is selling potash based fertilizer.
