    Hi there,

    The almost year-long lockdown has been very depressive.  Basically we've not been allowed to travel.  Thanks God, Mexico opened up again a few months ago, and it's one of the few countries that we can visit now.

    Mexico is very nice to people in Canada.  No matter you're a citizen, Maple Leave Card holder, or on study or work visa, as long as you can legally visit Canada, you can legally visit Mexico without a Mexican visa.

    I've been to Mexico a few times.  But Mexico is so big and has so many places to visit.  So I'm planning a 2-week-trip to Mexico during the coldest days of Canada, i.e. Late January to mid February.  After an extensive research, I came out with a road trip itinerary.

    The features of this trip are:

    - The destination of one of the planet's most spectacular butterfly migrations. (Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve)

    - Natural hot springs, spas, and pools. (Los Azufres Spa Natural & Manantial Media Luna)

    - Climbing a baby volcano, only 77 years old. See a church buried by lava. (Volcano Paricutín)

    - A colonial town, rich in culture and history, with music, dance, architecture, and among the best culinary experiences in the country. (San Miguel de Allende)

    - Incredible waterfalls that "look as though they've been photoshopped". (Cascade de Tamul & Cascadas de Minas Viejas)

    - A coastal town famous for its seafood. (Tampico)

    - Caribbean beaches for local Mexicans (Playa De Tamiahua)

    The budget of this trip is from 2000 to 2500 in CAD, per person.

    I'm going to rent a car for the whole trip.  Although COVID is no longer a big concern in Mexico, by renting a car, we don't need to use public transportation so we feel it's even safer.

    I'm a very experienced traveler.  I travelled abroad each year.  This time I'd like to find a travel pal to go together.  I'm mature, respectful, reliable, open-minded and easy-going.

    I expect you to be such a person:

    • You are a female
    • You enjoy nature and culture
    • You are fit, being able to hike steep and rugged trail.
    • You are easy-going and open-minded too.
    • You are positive and cheerful.
    • You are open to Mexican cuisine; You're not a vegetarian.
    • You are a safe driver
