You're wrong. It is illegal if you rent to tenants within a year after move in. You can however rent to boarders ( roommates) ANY time you want. It is NOT subject to LTB tribunal.

I strongly suggest people do your homework before making comments. Obviously a lot of them do NOT understand the difference between tenants and boarders. Boarders do NOT have the same legal right as tenants. They're NOT under the LTB umbrella.

他们权利大,到时候房东有可能吃大亏,前房客可以举证说房东赶人not in good faith,现在整个分租就是为了赶走他,分租不归LTB关不假,人家也不管你分租的事,人家就管是否in good faith。

不会的。你想多了。这地方就是按法条走。拿回来后来又找room mate没问题的。找room mate房主还是自住,不存在-not in good faith, 谁都不相信这会not in good Faith

问题是把前租客赶走了然后又出租,前租客可以告“not in good faith”,因为即便房主回来自主,只要再出租,哪怕是分租前租客也有权利留下来,愿不愿意是另一回事。当初提交自住申请,肯定是指整屋收回来自住,不然LTB不会同意
