good article, good suggestion. Say yes with you

It's very good. Let me give you some examples though.1. In job interview, during the formal session, use "yes", during the informal session, e.g., interview lunch, use "yeah". 2. On the job, in a meeting when your boss is discussing issues, use "yes" to show you are in problem solving status; working with your peers, use "yeah" so to keep them working with you. 3. Talking to your girlfriend, ... "yes"? "yeah"? ..., hum, vital to the relationship ...

Hi friend, your English is so good that I envy you very much! You know, girls are normally better than boys in language sense, I really want to know how you improve your English. I remember that...you said your wife speak perfect English, but you are great enough. *_*

How? It is hard to tell. But I have invested a lot in improving English.
The payback is not bad.

yeah and yup are used about the same across the border. "yup" is used more when you give out a positive answer. "yeah" is used more like okay.

I asked my colleague, and he said yes. We need this kind of article to make our life better, not complaints.

Good suggestion ,except one misused word --"unformal"; it should be "informal".
