New immigrants: you think GUCCI is so cheap, Starbucks is so cheap, even KFC is cheap
Old immigrants: you think everything is expensive.

New immigrants: you are so happy to find the "Dollar Store"
Old immigrants: you never go there

New immigrants: you think the clothing here is so boring and ugly.
Old immigrants: you think the clothing here is confortable , but it's hard to find your size.

New immigrants: you say "coffee" when ordering.
Old immigrants: you say "can I get a medium double double please" in Timy

New immigrants: you order "combo number 2" in KFC
Old immigrants: you never go there

New immigrants: you go to Pizza Huts to have a good treat.
Old immigrants: you grab a slice and eat it at the curb.

New immigrants: you think the house here is so big
Old immigrants: no matter what size, you think your house is too small

New immigrants: you want to know where you can find a guy to fix your house
Old immigrants: you want to know how you can fix it by yourself

New immigrants: you like the doctors and nurses, they are so kind.
Old immigrants: you think doctors and nurses are stupid

New immigrants: you looked at the election with great interests and like it
Old immigrants: you think all the politicians are scumbags

New immigrants: you drive a 六缸佳美房车 to go shopping.
Old immigrants: you forgot how you come here.

New immigrants: trying hard to find a job early
Old immigrants: trying hard to retire early

New immigrants: You enjoy all the free programs and services and want to have more
Old immigrants: you never have a chance to use the free services.

New immigrants: you don't know what is a shopping list
Old immigrants: you write your shopping list in English

New immigrants: you talk with white people, black people, Indian people..
Old immigrants: you talk with colleagues

New immigrants: you are outraged when your kids say "I hate you" and want to beat them up

有人来加拿大20年，一直在餐馆打工，英文，选举，啥也不会。也只能算新移民。呵呵。

agree most of what you said,but to be frankly, I really like the doctors and nurses here,I feel warm and comfortable whenever I have to visit them, even when have to pay the parking for whole night ;And I don't get mad again when I heard "I hate you", instead I'll say "I hate KFC", lol.

得知我的情况后他们很惊讶地问我为何不把一个房间出租给别人，和孩子二个人住着2+1的condo，而且还是二间卫浴的条件竟然让他们觉得是非常奢侈的一件事，当时的我一下子觉得自己很有负罪感，这算新旧移民的区别吗？
