Thanks Joyce for the advice. I'm currently doing some researchfor an employment placement . Could you pls kindly share with me which industry, field or companies are more likely to hire the treasury professionals? D

Treasury opportunities in Canada are very limited, the job market is much smaller than the States. If you're really interested in Treasury, you may want to think about moving to the States.I'm considering moving too ... :)

I was referring to the range you provided for the treasury manager, $200K is more likely for Director or Assistant Treasurer level (or Treasurer in some small companies) based on the surveys.

I think you misunderstood my comments, I was trying to say based on the surveys, $200K is the average for Assistant Treasurer roles, not managers as what you told me in the email. Average for managers is around $150K.I don't think I'll be able to get an Assistant Treasurer job that pays $200K base in Canada, maybe in the States. :)
